Yoga / Pilates / Zumba / PIYO/ Tai Chi / Boot Camp Instructors

Airam Mason (Yoga)- In her classes, the emphasis is on blending movement and breath and on precision of form.  We work to cultivate stillness and presence within the difficulty, or ease, of the poses. Her classes are strong, yet lighthearted; they support a balance between playfulness and purpose, between effort and surrender. Influences are rooted in the Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara and Iyengar traditions.  She received her Ashtanga teacher certification from David Swenson in 2004 and is fully engaged with expanding her knowledge and experience of yoga.  Her joy in teaching yoga is born out of admiration and respect for students’ commitment to the practice; it’s born out of the beauty and grace she sees as students explore and open the body while working with the breath with the simple purpose of quieting the mind.

Grace Duckworth (Yoga)- Yoga has transformed my life is so many ways that it would take me pages and pages to list each one. Therefore, I will do my best to give the short story.

My life has done a complete 180 – I have gone from anxiety stricken and incredibly depressed (literally losing my hair) to absolutely enjoying every chance in life that is given to me. In the past I was unhealthy; I dealt back and forth with eating disorders and was cruel to my body. Now I am a yoga instructor, a personal trainer and have a large interest in exploring other aspects of health and wellness. I am happier with myself, I love my body and I try new things; where as in the past I was too afraid of failing to give something new a chance. Now I wake up everyday ready to engage in a holistic and yogic lifestyle.

One of my proudest accomplishments was learning to truly listen and understand my body. When I began to approach health in a positive mind set, rather than negative (pushing myself past the line of what “healthy” should be) positive changes just began to happen in all aspects of my life. Good choices turned into common sense. It was no longer difficult to understand what I needed to do in order to help myself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I will forever be grateful to yoga and what it has done for me. That incredible change is what made me want to help change the lives of so many others.

Gena Kruger (Zumba)- I love to have fun, and I quickly found I was far less likely to remain active if my fitness plan did not involve dancing or playing a sport. Zumba Fitness ended up being the perfect fit! The time flies while I am getting a great, yet enjoyable, workout.

I quickly decided to become a Zumba Instructor after attending about 3 Zumba Fitness classes. I have been licensed since August 2010 and continue to enjoy both being an instructor and attending Zumba Fitness classes when possible. During class, you will find me smiling, sweating, and having a good time. If your life needs more music, exercise and dancing…try a ZUMBA Fitness class.

Destiny Hurst (PiYo) -  I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and PiYo Strength Instructor. Also, former Human Services Youth Specialist and Real Estate Agent in Nebraska~ these past and former roles have driven me to continue to work in what I am passionate about….. And that is working with people! I love encouraging and educating others it is an exciting role to be a part of and has its great rewards! I strive to make personal connections with my class and deliver sound fitness industry trends in a creative safe and fun environment!

I believe “What you think about you bring about” and positive changes and thoughts bring forth healthy concepts and lifestyle changes. Challenging yourself to the next level is empowering and can be harnessed through our daily activities. Challenge yourself to come and see how sweating within group exercise can have many rewards!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 daughters with game nights, shopping and outdoor activities.

Mallory Lutz (Pilates/Yoga)- Yoga saved me from a mundane life. I have always loved all aspects of finding a healthy life, trying anything and everything from dance to basketball to diving always getting bored and moving on. Then I found yoga and Pilates. Yoga brought me back to myself, allowing me to rediscover all of my Malloryness that life had worn away. Pilates on the other hand got me in the best shape of my life just in time for my beach wedding in July 2011. I encourage everyone to come and try a new class, step onto the mat and outside yourself. It might just change your life!

Jimmy Betts (Tai Chi)- Born of the far east, but raised in the midwest, Jimmy considers himself a humble seeker-sage-in-training under the tutelage of great masters and all forms of soulful teachers of the traditional healing, life-preserving/self-defense, and introspective sciences.  He is a proponent of a compassionate, holistic approach toward all things and works diligently to find the root sources of mind-body-spirit distress with every individual he has the joy of working.  He believes every person is complete, whole & amazing, but sometimes we all need a full body-mind re-mind-er.

“Our only duty is being of service to others, but we must always be mindful of our own well-being throughout this pursuit”

His life philosophy focuses on the Communication of love through humor, flexibility, trust, compassion & the beauty of our life work; the Nourishment of the spirit through cultivation and alignment of the mind, body & natural energies; and the Transmutation of wisdom through teaching by example, volunteering & exercising gratitude, epitomizing ones own training & quieting the mind through introspective meditation.  He has been learning, training, developing, and teaching these skills for the past 10 years.

“The best answers in the world pale in comparison to one better question”

Jimmy provides instruction in traditional Chinese internal martial arts, natural healing traditions, herbology, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Meditative/Introspective development.  He offers mindful, person-specific bodywork as a licensed massage therapist and energetic-wellness treatments as a Medical Qigong practitioner.
